TASTING NOTES

Intense, with greater depth than is typical of previous SELA vintages. The significance of the 2019 vintage is evident. The core is red, and the rim is also red.
The aroma is intense and direct, with abundant red fruits in the cherry range and some hints of black fruit. There is a sensation of ripe sweet fruit. The complexity is greater than usual, with some mineral notes of damp earth and aromatic herbs. The oak is impeccable.
Full-bodied and voluminous, with well-integrated, high-quality tannins. It possesses liveliness, strength, and flavor. It will age very well in the bottle. It will be a wine with a long life, although SELA wines are typically consumed fairly soon. It has length and plenty of freshness, with a subtle hint of bitterness in the finish—truly pleasant. It is a young, grand wine. It has more structure than is typical for SELA. The exceptional quality of the 2019 vintage is evident.
