Pago Negralada 2017 is intense and very appealing on the nose, with aromas of candied and dark fruits such as black plums, blackberries, and picota cherries that blend with balsamic and spicy notes of pine, black licorice, and smoke. On the palate, it is a deep wine with lively acidity and sharp edges, featuring austere tannins and plenty of vitality.
