WINEMAKING
Fermentation without pumping over in small tanks, preserving the distinct character of each small portion from every plot on the estate, and vinified separately until the end. Slow whole-berry alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeast. Prolonged maceration, while avoiding over-extraction. Malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels. All movements by gravity and with the utmost care.

TASTING NOTES
A wine with an intense, dark, and vibrant color. Complex nuances on the nose of black fruit, India ink, licorice, spices, and exotic woods. Harmonious and balanced. Elegant, vibrant, unobtrusive, and well-structured. Predominantly fruity expression, with wood that accompanies but does not dominate the very long finish. Enjoy now or age for the next 10 years.
