TASTING NOTES
All the ripe grape varieties are lightly destemmed and crushed. Temperature is strictly controlled throughout fermentation; the wine has a deep garnet red color. The nose reveals aromas of ripe black fruits (blueberry, blackberry, blackcurrant). A touch of spicy notes such as rosemary and Espelette pepper adds freshness. On the palate, it is full-bodied and smooth, with fruity and spicy flavors complemented by a light touch of tobacco, violet, and licorice. The tannins are silky. The finish is elegant and velvety.
