WINEMAKING
Slow alcoholic fermentation of whole grapes in small stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeast. Prolonged maceration, while avoiding over-extraction. Malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels. All transfers are gravity-fed and carried out with the utmost care. Preserving the primary, fruity aromas and striving to maintain the great depth of color characteristic of the region.
TASTING NOTES
A wine with a deep, intense color; glyceric and unctuous in the glass. An intense nose, with sensations of fresh fruit wrapped in very well-integrated oak that complements, but does not mask, the full varietal character of Tinta del País from Ribera del Duero. Fresh and lively on the palate, with elegant complexity, creamy nuances, and subtle toasted notes. Enveloping, dense, and well-integrated tannins. Subtle and elegant. Well-balanced for drinking now, with the potential to age in the bottle for several years.
